Chasing Shadows.

I believe the most profound stories are told in the absence of light. The negative space is where imagination resides.

Miron Portrait

“Photography is the art of observation. It has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.”

Born in the quiet, atmospheric winters of Eastern Europe, my fascination with light began not with the sun, but with the subtle glow of streetlamps cutting through dense fog. This early exposure to the interplay of stark contrasts shaped my visual language—one that prioritizes form, texture, and emotion over mere documentation.

My approach to photography is deeply rooted in the traditions of the darkroom, even as I embrace modern digital workflows. Every frame is a deliberate study in blackspace, stripping away the distraction of color to reveal the raw architecture of the subject.

Over the past decade, my work has evolved from spontaneous street photography to highly constructed conceptual portraits and stark landscapes. I seek out the silent moments, the pauses between actions, where true vulnerability is revealed.

My ultimate goal is not to present a flawless reality, but to offer a mirror to the viewer's own internal landscape—a space where shadows speak as loudly as light.
